Why has the struggle for the right to vote been so difficult in the United States?
SOLUTION
The struggle for the right to vote in the United States has been incredibly challenging due to a combination of historical, social, and political factors. Throughout American history, various groups, including women, people of color, and marginalized communities, have faced systemic barriers and discrimination that have impeded their access to the ballot box. For women like me, the struggle for suffrage was a lengthy and challenging path. It took decades of relentless activism, protests, and advocacy to secure the right to vote through the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920.
