As I reflect on my practice this week, I can see so many ways I use informatics. I work as a supervisor in an acute hospital, and I use informatics daily. I use informatics on the Electronic Health Records system to document care on patients and measure outcomes. As a supervisor, I use informatics for educating patients and for precepting and educating nurses and new hires.
