Consider a topic (mental health, HIV, opioid epidemic, pandemics, obesity, prescription drug prices, or many others) that rises to the presidential level. How did the current and previous presidents handle the problem? What would you do differently?

Abortion is a highly sensitive and controversial health topic that has remained a focus of population and public health for the last several decades. It is largely political and ethical social determinants that affect the issue of abortion. Healthcare providers cannot simply provide abortion services to patients requesting them without first considering their own personal ethics surrounding abortion as well as following federal and state laws regarding abortion.
